Iran Expo 2025 can play a crucial role in showcasing Iran’s export capabilities, provided the country presents itself professionally and in line with target market demands, a senior private sector actor said.
Mohammadreza Bahraman, Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), told Iran Chamber of Commerce newsroom that given the current economic conditions, Iran must utilize all its capacities to strengthen exports, which he described as the driving force of the economy.
“The government is seeking private sector participation in organizing the exhibition, and the Iran Chamber of Commerce is working to ensure a well-coordinated and effective presence,” Bahraman said. He emphasized that the chamber’s main goal is to steer the country’s economy towards greater exports and is committed to providing advisory insights to policymakers.
“The government must remain committed to its role in facilitating exports. Policies, regulations, and guidelines should be designed and implemented in a way that smooths the path for trade,” he stressed.
Highlighting the private sector’s strong belief in international engagement, Bahraman noted that businesses are actively participating in Iran Expo. He expressed hope that the presence of diverse trade delegations would not only bolster exports but also pave the way for increased foreign investment in Iran.
