The Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (TCCIMA) is set to host a trade delegation from Rostov-on-Don, a city in southern Russia, on April 14.
According to Hessameddin Hallaj, TCCIMA’s Deputy for International Affairs and Trade Promotion, the meeting will serve as a platform for matchmaking talks between Iranian and Russian business operators.
Hallaj noted that the visit follows the recent finalization of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two countries, aimed at expanding bilateral economic ties.
The Russian delegation will include businesspeople active in a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, railways, food and agriculture, cosmetics, and home appliances, he added.
