Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday that Iran welcomes foreign investors and international traders, describing the country as a suitable platform for business and investment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 7th Exports Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2025) in Tehran, Pezeshkian greeted foreign guests and stressed the importance of economic cooperation in promoting global peace and security.

"Peace and security are achieved through trade, investment, and collaboration," Pezeshkian said. "We are fully prepared to foster companionship and solidarity."

The president added that international cooperation was essential to making the world "full of peace, freedom, humanity, and security," and called for joint efforts to make life sweeter for all inhabitants of the planet.

The seventh edition of Iran Expo, considered the country’s largest and most significant event aimed at linking with international markets, kicked off today with participation from representatives of companies from over 100 countries.

The exhibition is being held at Tehran’s Permanent Fairground from April 28 to May 2.
