Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture has condemned a recent Israeli strike that killed a number of senior Iranian military commanders, academics, and civilians, calling on the international community to denounce this “blatant violation of international law”.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Chamber expressed condolences over the loss of lives following the attack, which targeted both military and residential sites in Iran.
“This act of aggression, which is clearly inconsistent with international laws and protocols, comes despite Iran's repeated commitment to diplomatic engagement and improving relations with the world,” the statement said.
The Chamber urged governments and peace-seeking nations to denounce Israel’s “brutality and warmongering,” and to take responsible action to stop “a regime that poses a threat to regional and global security.”
