A 96-member business delegation from Iran departed for Yerevan on Sunday, led by Mohammadreza Bahraman, vice president of Iran Chamber of Commerce.

The trip comes ahead of President Masoud Pezeshkian’s planned visit to Armenia on Monday and is aimed at exploring trade and investment opportunities between the two neighboring countries.

The delegation will seek to expand bilateral economic ties and explore trade opportunities in sectors including agriculture and food products, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, machinery and manufacturing, minerals and metals, chemicals and polymers, construction materials, engineering services and tourism.

The visit’s program includes a business forum and B2B meetings in Yerevan with Armenian officials and companies, aimed at strengthening cooperation and tapping new markets.
