An Iranian trade delegation has travelled to Cuba as Iran opens its national pavilion at the Havana International Fair.

The delegation, led by Samad Hassanzadeh, president of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, departed Tehran for Havana on Sunday.

Its first engagement will be attending the opening ceremony of the 41st Havana International Fair 2025, one of the region’s largest annual trade exhibitions.

Hassanzadeh and other senior chamber officials are also scheduled to hold meetings with a number of high-ranking Cuban economic and industrial authorities during the visit.

Iran’s private sector is participating in the Islamic Republic’s pavilion at the fair, which officials say is aimed at expanding commercial links with the Caribbean nation.
