A business delegation from Iran Chamber of Commerce, led by its president, Samad Hassanzadeh, departed Tehran for Astana on Tuesday to expand commercial ties with Kazakhstan and sign three cooperation agreements worth more than 300 million euros.
The visit coincides with President Masoud Pezeshkian’s trip to Kazakhstan and includes more than 100 Iranian private-sector representatives.
The program includes a high-level bilateral business forum, B2B meetings with Kazakh companies in Astana, visits to industrial and commercial centers, and discussions on customs and investment issues. The delegation is also scheduled to meet Iran’s ambassador in Kazakhstan.
Three major agreements between Iranian and Kazakh partners are ready for signature, covering logistics infrastructure, industrial projects and the export of technical and engineering services – areas officials say will strengthen Iran’s competitive advantages while addressing Kazakhstan’s economic needs.
