Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Paris by ICCIMA President Gholamhossein Shafei and President of CCIP, the two sides agreed to hold seminars, workshops and joint training courses.
CCIP will also provide grounds for establishment of an international training center in Tehran for holding courses in international business, management, economics and other related disciplines.
Having signed the cooperation agreement, Iran’s Shafei said “Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber enjoys a very high degree of credibility the field of education and its experiences are comparable to many of the world’s leading universities, which explains why the Iranian Chamber is determined to boost ties with CCIP.”
Pointing to the position of education in economic development, ICCIMA head said “up-to-date training in the field of business, especially in international marketing, remains a missing link in Iran’s business environment, and we hope that Iran’s chamber will be able to open branches of departments affiliated with CCIP in Tehran to expand necessary trainings businessmen and economic activists in Iran.”
Morteza Allahdad, ICCIMA deputy of economic affairs said: “The ICCIMA is seeking to establish a branch of one of the prestigious colleges affiliated with the Paris Chamber of Commerce in Tehran. Negotiations will be conducted with INSAED, as one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools situated in France in addition to two other accredited faculties.”
Earlier negotiations on the initiation of educational cooperation between the two sides were held in Tehran during the visit of Étienne Guyot, Director General of Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry’ is a French chamber of commerce that supports businesses in Paris and the Île-de-France, created on 1 January 2013 through a merger of several smaller chambers of commerce.
