Iranian pharmaceutical company, Abidi Pharmaceuticals.

The International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) admitted Iran as an observer member in its November assembly.

Iran is the first country in the Middle East region to join the ICH, an organisation that works toward the unification of quality, efficiency and safety standards for pharmaceuticals across the world.

Being a member can help increase the quality of pharmaceuticals produced in the country and ease the exports of such products from Iran to other countries.

ICH started activity in 1990 and currently has 16 members and 28 observer members.
