Iraqi Airways will resume flights from Najaf to Iran as restrictions on issuing flight permits to Iraqi airlines have been lifted, the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Organization said.
The airline will operate its flights from and to Tehran and Mashhad, Mohammad-Hassan Zibakhsh said.
Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh also noted that currently there is no restriction on permissions for Iranian flights to Iraq.
Iraqi authorities banned flights with several countries, including Iran, on January 14 due to concerns over the spread of the coronavirus.
