Austrian Airlines will resume Vienna-Tehran flights as of July 17, says Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh, spokesman of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.
“Vienna-Tehran-Vienna flights by Austrian Airlines are scheduled for thrice a week. IranAir, the country’s flag carrier airline, has the permit to operate roundtrip Tehran-Vienna flights twice a week but due to the Covid-19 situation, it now offers one flight to the Austrian capital,” he was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency.
Lufthansa, the largest German airline, has also resumed flights to Iran since the beginning of the current Iranian year [March 21], he added.
