World Chambers Federation (WCF) has chosen Tehran Chamber of Commerce as July chamber, according to the Iranian committee of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
The selection of Tehran Chamber of Commerce as WCF July chamber was due to the active participation in the world federation, sharing news, documents, and events such as ongoing webinars on medicine and treatment amid the COVID-19 pandemic as well as providing business opportunities between Tehran and Shanghai.
Helping remove the economic obstacles on the way of Iran’s growth, by providing suggestions for improving the business environment of the country, for instance, also contributed to the selection of Tehran Chamber of Commerce as WCF July chamber.
Tehran Chamber of Commerce has also made proposals for attracting foreign investments and signaled readiness to establish trade interactions with other world countries.
This is the second time that an Iranian chamber is selected as top chamber of the month by WCF as the federation had once chosen Khorramabad Chamber of Commerce.
What is ICC?
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the institutional representative of more than 45 million companies in over 100 countries.
ICC was founded in the aftermath of the First World War when no world system of rules governed trade, investment, finance or commercial relations.
Without waiting for governments to fill the gap, ICC’s founders acted on their conviction that the private sector is best qualified to set global standards for business.
They called themselves “The merchants of peace.”

The World Chambers Federation (WCF) is ICC’s unique and truly global forum uniting the global network of chambers and their respective business communities. As well as strengthening links among chambers, WCF also helps individual chambers become more productive.
