Iranian and French businesspersons are due to explore ways for joint activities in an online B2B meeting in the near future.
Iran-France Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industries is scheduled to make the necessary coordination for the meeting along with the Movement of the Enterprises of France, and chambers of commerce from different French cities.
The meeting aims to increase the level of cooperation between Iranian and French companies and businesspersons.
France sent some €254.4 million worth of goods to Iran in 2020 to be the fourth biggest European exporter to Iran following Germany, Italy and Netherlands.
Iran’s imports from Europe mainly included boilers, machinery, mechanical appliances and parts thereof; pharmaceutical products; optical, photographic, cinematographic, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus, parts and accessories thereof; electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound and television image recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles; cereals; organic chemicals; miscellaneous chemical products; plastics and articles thereof; oilseeds and oleaginous fruits; miscellaneous grains, seeds and fruit; industrial or medicinal plants, straw and fodder; and essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations.
