Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) is setting out a roadmap for economic diplomacy  for maximum use of the Iranian private sector potentials, according to ICCIMA Vice-President Hossein Selahvarzi.

Selahvarzi, who chaired an ICCIMA board of representatives in the absence of Iran Chamber of Commerce president on Sunday, said that through the mentioned plan the ICCIMA is trying to play its role in helping the government’s economic diplomacy agenda.

He said that the plan will be ready soon and will be handed over to the country’s economic activists.

Selahvarzi said that all those active in the country’s economic field have to do their share to help the fulfilment of the Iranian 7th economic growth plan.

Vice-President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Hossein Selahvarzi is seen addressing an ICCIMA board of representatives in Tehran, Iran September 18, 2022.

His comments comes few days after Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei outlined the general policies of Iran’s next five-year economic growth plan.

He said that the economic sector should not make its developmental and reformist activities subject to resolution of political problems, since “we have left many things undone on our part whose resolution is a prerequisite to linking to the global chain.”
