Chairman of Iranian provincial Bojnourd Chamber of Commerce Saeed Pourabadi said on Saturday that the chamber of commerce has opened a trade office in Moscow.
Pourabadi said that the launch of the trade office in Moscow followed meetings with Russian economic officials, including a meeting with the chairman of Moscow Chamber of Commerce.
He said that the newly-launched trade office in Moscow aims to facilitate economic relations with the businesspersons in the Russian capital.
Pourabadi noted that the two sides also agreed for opening a trade office of Moscow Chamber of Commerce in Bojnourd.
The private sector of North Khorasan Province believes that launching trade offices in other countries, particularly the target markets, is necessary to help trade activities with neighboring countries, he said.
Pourabadi also said in mid-June that a local branch of Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce is set to open in Bojnourd, the capital city of the Iranian northeastern province of North Khorasan.
He said that the opening of the subsidiary branch is happening in line with the foreign policy of President Ebrahim Raeisi’s government to further expand relations with neighboring countries.
