The seventh edition of Eurasia Commerce and Industry Conference and Exhibition opened in Astrakhan on Wednesday.
The event, which is sponsored by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), kicked off in Astrakhan with the assistance of Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce.
The exhibition will continue until October 29 in which more than 20 Iranian companies showcase their products in different areas, including constructional materials, health and cosmetics and so on.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, ICCIMA Vice-President Hossein Selahvarzi said that there is a good resolve on all the sides to promote trade and economic cooperation among the Eurasian countries.
He also touched upon economic relations between Iran and Russia and said that apart from good agreements between the two governments, the private sectors of both sides are also helping these relations to make progress.
