Iran has pumped more than 7 billion cubic meters of gas to neighboring Turkey in the first nine months of 2022, according to a report by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Another report by Turkish Statistical Institute also said that the volume of trade between Iran and Turkey have grown 26% year-on-year in the nine-month period to top $4.8 billion.
The volume of trade between the two countries stood at $3.799 billion in the corresponding period of last year.
Turkey exported as much as $2.213 billion worth of commodities to Iran in the period under review registering an 11% growth year-on-year.
Turkey also imported some $2.596 billion worth of goods from Iran in the time span up 43% from $1.809 billion of last year’s corresponding period.
