The volume of trade between Iran and China reached $15.795 billion in 2022 up seven percent from that of 2021, IRNA reported recent China customs figures.
Iran’s trade with China stood at $14.760 billion in 2021 showing a one percent decrease from a year earlier.
China exported as much as $9.44 billion worth of commodities in 2022 indicating a 14% rise compared to that of last year ($8.258 billion).
China’s imports from Iran in 2022 declined 2% YOY to stand at $6.502 billion in 2022.
The above-mentioned figures suggest that China has registered a $3 billion surplus in trade with Iran over the one-year period.
Iran has had an insignificant 0.25% of China’s overall trade with the world in 2022.
