Flights between Iran and Bahrain are scheduled to resume soon, First Vice Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament Abdul Nabi Salman has said, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.
He said that the resumption of flights between the two countries has been welcomed by an Iranian delegation.
Manama is closely monitoring a recent deal between Tehran and Riyadh, the Bahraini official said, adding that his country sees no problem for resuming ties with Iran.
Salman believed that his meeting with an Iranian delegation is not only to the benefit of Bahrain, but will also benefit the entire Persian Gulf region.
Resumption of relations between Tehran and Manama will not last long, he said.
