An absolute majority of ICC Iran voted for Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on Monday to chair the body for another term.
Iran Chamber of Commerce secured 20 votes to gain the chairmanship.
Iran Export Confederation (with 15 votes), Hossein Salimi (with 14 votes), Bank Pasargad (with 12 votes), Iran Insurers Syndicate (with 12 votes), Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (with 11 votes), and Bank Parsian (with 10 votes) were also elected as other members of ICC Iran.
Taavon Insurance Company and Keshavarzi Bank were also elected as alternate members.
In December 2022, Mohammad Khazaei, an aide to Iran Chamber of Commerce president and the Director General of ICC Iran, was elected as member of the General Council at the World Chambers Federation (WCF) of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
