Iran private sector signals readiness to enhance trade ties with Sweden

President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has voiced ICCIMA’s readiness to engage in more increased cooperation with Sweden.

Hossein Selahvarzi was speaking in a meeting on Monday with Iran’s newly-appointed ambassador to Sweden Hojjatollah Faghani.

He noted that the Iranian private sector needs more information about the Swedish companies and the trade opportunities of the European country.

The Iranian ambassador to Sweden, for his part, congratulated the president of Iran Chamber of Commerce for being elected to the post.

Sweden is highly advanced in the areas of IT and paper production, Faghani said, adding that Iran and Sweden can cooperate in these areas.

The ambassador said that the Swedish people highly trust the Iranian businesspeople. “Iran’s embassy in Sweden is ready for any kind of cooperation to increase the presence of Iranian businesspersons in the country.”
