Head of the trade office of the Vietnamese embassy in Tehran Nguyen Thanh Long visited Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) headquarters in Tehran on Saturday where he had discussions with Niloofar Assadi, the ICCIMA caretaker of the international affairs.
The meeting took place as Iran Chamber of Commerce is due to host an Iran-Vietnam Business Forum in the near future.
Assadi and the Vietnamese diplomat discussed an upcoming visit to Tehran by the parliament speaker of Vietnam at the head of a 70-member trade delegation and a joint business forum which will be held in the Iranian capital simultaneous with the visit.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Luong Quoc Huy also visited Iran Chamber of Commerce earlier this month where he met and conferred with ICCIMA President Hossein Selahvarzi.
Speaking during the meeting, the ambassador said that the Vietnamese parliament speaker has plans to visit Iran Chamber of Commerce as part of his Tehran visit.
