Mohammad Raza Karbasi, the director-general of the Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC), says low treatment costs in Iran has made health tourism one of the main areas for cooperation between Iran and Croatia.
Karbasi, who is on a visit to Zagreb to attend the 3rd Halal Business Forum, made the remarks in a meeting on Saturday with the director general of Croatian Employers' Association (CEA).
He also underlined the need for negotiations on cooperation potentials of the private sectors of Iran and Croatia.
Karbasi stressed that the two countries can have more cooperation on agriculture, techno-engineering services and construction, as well as tourism and health tourism areas.
Both Iran and Croatia are rich in agricultural products and can have good cooperation in this sector, he said.
He also noted that Iran can export high-tech constructional industry to Croatia.
In the meantime, the director general of Croatian Employers' Association (CEA) said that the association is ready for more negotiations and cooperation with the Iranian side.
