Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Mohammadreza Farzin has said that another part of Iran’s frozen assets will be released and handed over to Iran soon.
He made the remarks speaking at the economic commission of Iran’s Experts Assembly on Thursday without providing any further details.
Farzin also said that the CBI has successfully managed to control the forex rate over the past months.
As much as $6 billion dollars of Iranian funds frozen in South Korean banks were released few months ago, following an agreement between Iran and the United States.
