Iran’s monthly inflation rate has slightly declined to settle at 2.2% in the Iranian calendar month ending on November 21, according to recent data released by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI).
The SCI report, published on Sunday, revealed that the month-on-month inflation rate in Iran decreased to 2.2% during the Iranian calendar month of Aban (October 23 – November 21), showing a 0.1% decrease compared to that of the previous month.
The report also put Iran’s annual inflation of Aban at 44.9% which is 0.6% down compared to annual inflation of the previous month.
The point-to-point annual inflation of this month was also reported at 39.2% which indicates that the Iranian households are receiving the goods and services at prices which are 39.2% higher on average than the same month of the previous year.
