In a bid to introduce its one-year activities, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has published its “Statistical Yearbook 2022”.
The Statistical Yearbook aims to introduce the most important activities carried out during one year by Iran Chamber of Commerce – widely known as the national parliament of the private sector.
The yearbook is comprised of four different chapters which are briefly reviewed here:
Chambers of Commerce as the responsible authority and parliament of the private sector in Iran and throughout the world, play a significant role in facilitating the activities of operators of the private sector. To illustrate this, the first chapter presents the performances and activities of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture. In this chapter, information related to performance of the various sections of Iran Chamber of Commerce are presented.
The second chapter provides information on performance of the private sector in the fields of agriculture, mining, industry and services.
The data and results of business monitoring plan, Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) and Performance evaluation index of Administrations related to the business environment, which is carried out by Iran Chamber of Commerce are also presented in the third chapter.
In the fourth chapter, Iran's performance has been reviewed in relation to some of the key economic indices, including indices related to business environment, competitiveness, exports and imports, and transportation and tourism among countries of the world.
International sources such as the World Bank and World Bank report on business environment, the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), World Economic Forum competitiveness reports, and other sources have been used in preparation and production of statistics and information for this chapter.
