Saudi Ambassador to Tehran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi says that enhancement of brotherly ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia rests upon the partnership of the private sectors of both countries.

Saudi Ambassador to Tehran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi says that enhancement of brotherly ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia rests upon the partnership of the private sectors of both countries.

The ambassador made the remarks during a Monday visit to the headquarters of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) where he met with ICCIMA President Samad Hassanzadeh.

Addressing the meeting, the Iran Chamber of Commerce president hailed Saudi Arabia’s economic and scientific progress over the past few years.

He said that Iran enjoys high potentials in the areas of industries, information technology, oil and gas, and energy, voicing the country’s willingness to share experiences with Saudi Arabia.

Hassanzadeh also referred to Saudi Arabia’s huge potentials in receiving large number of tourists including religious tourists annually, calling for more expanded cooperation with the country in the tourism sector.

He invited the president of the Federation for Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry to pay a visit to Iran at the head of a trade delegation to discuss more increased cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.

The Saudi ambassador, for his part, conveyed felicitations of Hassan Al-Huwaizi, the president of the Federation for Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry to Mr. Hassanzadeh for being elected as the new president of Iran Chamber of Commerce.

He said that the Saudi government attaches special significance to the private sector and has allocated major facilities to expansion of trade between the private sectors of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Al-Anzi referred to the Saudi Vision 2030 which he said has envisaged major projects for bilateral cooperation with Iran.

There is no problem for issuing visa between Iran and Saudi Arabia and the applicants need to apply at the proper time, the ambassador said.
