Head of Iran’s Planning and Budget Organization Davoud Manzour has said that the government plans to determine next year wages based on expected inflation.

“We hope to reach a reasonable rate of wage increase in the negotiations between the labor unions and the government,” the official said on Sunday.

He noted that the government plans for next year’s wages would include all the workers, government employees and the retired.

Appreciating the Iranian people’s voter turnout in a Friday parliamentary election, Manzour said that the Planning and Budget Organization makes every effort to improve the living conditions of the people.
