Iran has exchanged as much as $153 billion with different world countries in the past Iranian calendar year to March 19, according to the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
Mohammad Rezvanifar said that Iran’s annual trade marks a 2.6% growth when compared to that of the preceding year.
Iran has exported an aggregate $86.89 billion worth of goods in the period under review and imported a total of $66.28 billion in the one-year period, the official noted.
He added that the country’s annual exports excluding oil, electricity and techno-engineering services stood at 136.4 tons worth some $49.23 billion which is down 8.87% in terms of value while increasing 9.82% in terms of tonnage.
Rezvanifar put Iran’s annual oil exports at $35.87 billion.
