Iran’s First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber has said that international experiences and scientific researches prove that progress is only possible through the mechanism of popularizing the economy.
Mokhber was speaking in a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday with the board members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA).
He made the remarks with reference to naming the Iranian New Year by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the year of “Surge in Production through People’s Participation.”
“There is no economic knot in the country that cannot be solved by people and economic activists,” the vice president said.
He highlighted the potentials of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, while regretting that the country has been making the least use of these potentials.
President of Iran Chamber of Commerce Samad Hassanzadeh, in the meantime, underlined the need for more enhanced cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and the economic policies of the government.
He also stressed that the fulfillment of the motto of the New Year would require making use of the potentials of the private sector.
