Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has once again stressed that his administration would prioritize making use of the potentials of the private sector.

The president appeared before the Iranian Parliament, known as Majlis, to defend his proposed ministers in an open session on Saturday where he said that his proposed cabinet is “the cabinet of national reconciliation” that belongs to all Iranians.

Noting that economic issues top the agenda of his administration, he highlighted reforms in the country’s foreign relations as well as domestic affairs as the only solution to problems bothering the Iranian nation.

He pledged that his government would endeavor to return the economic and social activities to people and pave the way for further partnership of people and the private sector.

The president referred to an advice by Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam, in a letter to his major commander in which he said that nothing will remain stable without the help of the industry owners.

“If now we have Majlis and government, it is in the light of the businesspeople and producers,” Pezeshkian said.
