Iran’s Century-Old Chambers of Commerce Club to be established

The chairman of Iran’s local Bushehr Chamber of Commerce announced the formation of the Club of Iran's Century-Old Chambers of Commerce, which will coincide with the first meeting of the heads of the country’s century-old chambers on April 9-10.

Khorshid Gezderazi stated that eight chambers across Iran—those in Bushehr, Tehran, Khorramshahr, Kashan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Sari, and Shiraz—have been recognized as century-old chambers. The first joint meeting of their chairpersons and secretaries-general will take place on April 9 and 10, 2025, hosted by the Bushehr Chamber of Commerce.

Gezderazi emphasized that these meetings would be held on a continuous basis.

He explained that the primary goals of establishing the Club of Iran's Century-Old Chambers of Commerce include fostering synergy among these chambers, unifying members, and influencing national policymaking. Additionally, the club aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences among veteran chambers.

He further mentioned the formation of a specialized dialogue council among the century-old chambers and expressed the club's ambition to create international connections, providing a platform for global expansion and collaboration with leading chambers worldwide.
