Iran chamber delegation to attend Islamic Chamber general assembly in Mecca

A delegation led by Samad Hassanzadeh, president of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, will attend the 41st general assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

A delegation led by Samad Hassanzadeh, president of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, will attend the 41st general assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, scheduled for Feb. 16 on the sidelines of the third Mecca Halal Forum, will bring together representatives from chambers of commerce and economic federations across ICCD member states to discuss financial and organizational matters.

The agenda includes reviewing and approving financial reports, electing board members, confirming the appointment of the ICCD president, following up on decisions from the previous general assembly, and examining applications for new members.

The gathering is expected to serve as a platform to strengthen economic cooperation among Islamic countries, expand private sector engagement and enhance coordination of economic capacities at the international level.
