Iran Chamber of Commerce president has emphasized the importance of home-based and family-centered businesses as a pillar of economic resilience amid ongoing external economic pressures.
In a message marking National Home Business and Family Production Day on Tuesday, Samad Hassanzadeh highlighted the need to focus on the country’s internal, flexible economic capacities during challenging times.
“Home-based and family-centered enterprises not only complement the economy but serve as a key pillar of national economic resilience,” Hassanzadeh said. “Due to their decentralized nature, lower costs, and reliance on family human capital, these activities can help maintain stable production and income flows in society.”
Hassanzadeh added that the Chamber, representing Iran’s private sector, believes supporting small-scale production and family-oriented productive structures is a strategic path to safeguard the country’s economic and social stability.
