Iran has lifted a ban on exports of live cattle allowing the exports of unproductive cattle.

Iranian Minister of Agriculture Javad Sadatinejad, who is also the chairman of Iran’s Council for Pricing Agricultural Products, on Monday informed the Ministries of Agriculture, Economy, and Industry, Mine and Trade about the permission to export unproductive livestock from a specific customs.

The Council for Pricing Agricultural Products allowed the exports of a certain number of live cattle from one specific customs.

The council is, however, concerned about keeping the price balance for both the producers and consumers.
