Iran’s iron ore pellet output hits 12.7 million tons in four months

The iron ore pellet output of local steel mills stood at 12.78 million tons in the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 7% rise in output compared with the same period of last year, new data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association show.

The iron ore pellet output of local steel mills stood at 12.78 million tons in the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 7% rise in output compared with the same period of last year, new data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association show.

Golgohar Steel Company was the largest producer with 3.69 million tons and was followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 2.39 million tons. 

It was followed by Sangan Steel Company with 1.59 million tons, Chadormalu with 1.19 million tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1.18 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 1.1 million tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 1.09 million tons, SIMIDCO with 391,573 tons and Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 164,719 tons.
