Fulfillment of an Iranian target plan to export as much as $6 billion of auto spare parts by 2025 is achievable, according to an auto spare parts official.
Arash Mohebbinia, the secretary of the Iranian Specialized Manufacturers of Auto Parts Association (ISMAPA), called on the Iranian exporters of auto spare parts to attach special significance to markets of Russia, Iraq, Turkey and Venezuela.
He once again stressed the significance of exports to the Russian market, noting that a working group has been formed with the partnership of Iranian automakers to work on exports to this country.
Referring to the holding of MIMS Automobility Moscow 2022 in the Russian capital in August, Mohebbinejad said that the event brought positive results for Iranian auto spare part producers.
A 160-member Iranian delegation is scheduled to attend an exhibition in Bursa, Turkey within the next few weeks, he said, expressing hope that the exhibition will witness a high level of exchanges between Iranian SMEs with Turkish companies.
The noted that at least 70% of the achievements of the country’s auto industry have been made through efforts by spare parts producers which were done despite tough sanctions on Iran.
