Tajikistan’s Somon Air has declared it intends to set up flights to the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
According to Tajikistan’s media outlets, the first flight from Dushanbe to Tehran is expected to be carried out on January 31.
The flights are scheduled to be operating once a week on Fridays. The flight will leave Dushanbe for Tehran at 17:30 local time and then leave the Iranian capital for Dushanbe at 20:20 local time, IRNA reported.
The flights will take two hours and 50 minutes from Dushanbe to Tehran and two hours and 20 minutes from Tehran to Dushanbe.
Somon Air plans to expand its flight network, which is available now from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, India, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
