Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari says future of Iran’s economy is tied to promotion of trade with the African continent which he said can lead to increased durable exchanges for Iran.
Underlining Iran’s policy to enhance ties with African and Latin American countries, the official said that Iran can reach its economic goals by pursuing cooperation in techno-engineering services, transit, exports and imports, and technological activities.
He stressed that Iran needs to balance its trade with the African counties and increase the share of its imports from the continent so as to give a boost to bilateral trade.
The official said that Iran can expand its 1 or 2 billion dollar trade with Africa to tens of billions of dollars.
