Report puts Iran’s 10-month exports to China at $11.5 billion

Iran exported commodities valued at $11.5 billion to China during the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023-January 20, 2024), the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced.

According to Mohammad Rezvani-Far, China was the top export destination of Iranian goods in the mentioned ten-month period.

Also, exporting commodities valued at $15.2 billion to Iran, China was Iran’s second source of imports in the first ten months of the present year, the IRICA head announced.

According to the data released by China’s customs administration, the value of trade between Iran and China in 2023 exceeded $14.6 billion, registering a 6.2 percent decline compared to 2022.

Based on the mentioned data, the two countries exchanged $14.650 billion worth of products in 2023, while the value of trade between the two countries stood at $15.5 billion in 2022.
