Iran’s non-oil exports to Afghanistan hit $1.8 billion in one year

An official at the Iranian Embassy in Afghanistan said that Iran exported over $1.8 billion worth of non-oil products to the neighboring country in the previous Iranian calendar year to late March.

An official at the Iranian Embassy in Afghanistan said that Iran exported over $1.8 billion worth of non-oil products to the neighboring country in the previous Iranian calendar year to late March.

An official at the Iranian Embassy in Afghanistan said that Iran exported over $1.8 billion worth of non-oil products to the neighboring country in the previous Iranian calendar year to late March.  

Iran’s Commercial Attaché in Afghanistan Hossein Roustaei said the country exported as much as $1.871 billion worth of non-oil products to Afghanistan from March 21, 2023, to March 19, 2024, showing more than 13.6 percent hike compared to a year before.

He went on to say that 3,414 tons of non-oil products were exported from the country to Afghanistan in the one-year period, indicating a 28-percent increase compared to the same period last year.
