Following efforts by Kerman Chamber of Commerce, the second edition of Kerman IDEX is scheduled to be held in the southern province on May 13-16.
The international event strives to pave the way for dialogue between the private sector, thinkers and the government both in the national and international levels to find solutions to problems on the way of investment and sustainable growth.
Chairman of Kerman Chamber of Commerce Mehdi Tabibzadeh cited statistics by the chamber earlier on Sunday which said more than 75% of development indicators in Kerman are not in a favorable condition and the Kerman IDEX intends to offer a development model.
He said that as much as $6 billion worth of investment opportunities are due to be introduced in this event.
20 specialized panels on different economic issues will also be held on the sidelines of the event, Tabibzadeh said.
