The President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), Samad Hassanzadeh, has called on President Masoud Pezeshkian to intensify government support for Iranian investors operating abroad.

During President Pezeshkian’s visit to an exhibition showcasing private sector achievements in Tehran on Saturday, Hassanzadeh emphasized the Chamber's pivotal role in fostering economic diplomacy and enhancing international relations, particularly with neighboring countries. He noted that such ties are on a growth trajectory.

Highlighting the Chamber's extensive national and international resources—including 34 provincial and local chambers, 49 joint chambers and committees of commerce with foreign countries, 20 specialized commissions, and its research center—Hassanzadeh stressed that leveraging these assets under governmental trust could accelerate the nation's economic progress.

Iranian investors abroad require robust backing from the Iranian government, he said, underscoring the necessity of state support to encourage and protect overseas investments.

President Pezeshkian echoed these sentiments, asserting that the Chamber of Commerce must take the lead in advancing the country's economic development agenda.
