The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has issued a report which suggests that the country’s economy has grown by 4.5% in the first three quarters of the fiscal year (March 21 – December 21, 2023).
The report cited by state IRNA news agency on Saturday, also said that the Iranian GDP, excluding oil products, has posted a 3.5% increase in the mentioned period.
It added that the growth in Iranian economy followed a 4% growth in the previous year which is indicative of an ongoing improvement in the country’s economic activities.
Iran also saw a 4.9% year-on-year rise in the gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) in the nine-month period, according to the report.
